Several months ago with the release of Leopard, Apple brought to us an amazing technolegy called Quicklook. This feature has allowed us to sneak a peek at many different document formats without even opening them. What about the obscure, non-standard file formats, though? It's fortunate for us that Quicklook is expandable by plug-ins that can be created by normal Mac developers. There are quite a few resources out there, some better than others. I've narrowed my favorite Quicklook plugin centric sites down to a couple selections: QLPlugins.com and QuickLookPlugins.com. Although not perfect, these websites will give you a pretty good idea about what kind of Quicklook plugins are out there. Check them out, you won't regret it. -Frankster Two |
